“I have always had a difficult time maintaining the bacteria levels in my mouth and have always struggled with periodontal disease and maintaining the disease from home. I was recommended the Perio Protect trays by my hygienist Becky and Dr. Schlueter however I was not quick to move forward with the trays due to the cost and not thinking I would have success with them.
I am so glad that I finally decided after a few appointments to get the trays! I have been using these trays for 6 months now and have seen significant improvements in my gum tissue health, I have less build up, I have noticed a huge change in the brightness of my smile and my mouth feels so much cleaner. I also feel a huge improvement with my overall health. My body is not struggling with fighting the extra bacteria. These trays are worth every penny.

“Yesterday was my very first visit to Lakewinds Dental Centre. A dental “emergency” popped up and I was really hoping they could fix my little problem. I didn’t have my own dentist and hadn’t seen a dentist in several years. They were able to see me within a day which really made me happy!
From my first phone call with Britney to schedule my appointment to the end of my visit, I was so very pleased with the entire staff! Britney was so pleasant and personable! Her bright personality soon alleviated any fears or concerns I had. And she was the one who greeted me upon my arrival for my appointment. Such a bright ray of sunshine! Britney even took me for a tour of the office and gave me a very nice gift for being a first time patient! No one ever gives gifts like that anymore!
Then, Rylyn came to get me for my appointment. She, too, was so very sweet and personable! She took the time and care to listen to my dental issues and concerns.
Dr. Schlueter then joined us and he was very professional, personable and took so much time to listen to my concerns and issues that you would have thought I was his only patient for the day! He did an evaluation and came up with a very well planned, extensive plan for my dental issues and concerns. He explained everything very thoroughly, eased so many of my concerns and answered all my questions. And most importantly, he was able to fix my dental “emergency”, the initial reason I made the appointment.
Finally, Sophie came in and did a very thorough exam of my teeth and came up with a comprehensive plan for cleaning and future care.
They even put me on a cancellation list to get me in quicker for my next visit and as luck would have it my next visit is in four days!!!
I am going to recommend them to my husband to have him change his current dentist to Lakewinds Dental Centre.
The office is located in a beautiful part of Ludington with very easy access and parking. The office itself is very pretty, warm and welcoming.
